Provisioning services quickly and easily improves customer satisfaction and results in a rapid return on investment. The Insight EMS is web-based, with a Windows look and feel. It is a powerful application that is easy to use and administer, requiring only an industry-standard web browser on the user's desktop. Additionally, with the Insight EMS, network operators are empowered with intuitive tools that include:

  • Object navigation - Provides hierarchical folder views of hardware and services, allowing users to see a broad view of the network and complete tasks with a minimal number of mouse clicks. This approach also enhances scalability by minimizing the amount of data sent across the network.
  • Automated provisioning - To expedite the provisioning of labor-intensive tasks, Sonus has created the Configurator. The Configurator is an automated configuration tool that allows users to create, validate and execute configuration scripts. These scripts automate bulk configuration and provisioning tasks, enabling rapid deployment and reducing the potential for human error.
  • Softswitch management - To facilitate rapid deployment, the Insight EMS provides a service-oriented interface to handle network-related functions such as call routing, screening/blocking and digit analysis. To improve ease of use, related configuration parameters are presented in tabular screens equipped with helpful drop-down selection lists.
  • Subscriber service management - For rapid customer-driven provisioning, the Insight EMS allows you to configure the system while underlying network details remain hidden. This allows customer service representatives to handle only applicable customer information, reducing human errors. This feature also allows you to create unique dialing plans and service profiles with three subscriber levels: business groups, business units and individual subscribers.
